John (Sylvester) and I met in 2007 at Aberystwyth Folk Club but only started working together during the recording of the ‘Making Waves’ album. We had a lot of fun recording that album and worked well together so decided, where ever possible, we would try to get work as a duo. During 2008/9 we recorded the ‘Hunting with the Hounds’ album and began getting bookings in Wales, Shropshire and Cheshire. We play original music and while we are not a ’traditional folk duo’  many of  our songs, in true folk tradition, tell stories and tales of the past.

Quite often we are joined by one or more of our musical mates…Dave Russell, Chris Lee (and other members of Full House) and Graham Bellinger…so expect the unexpected when you come to one of our gigs.
